Automotive and dealership websites

Two different customers, two different jobs: one is buying a vehicle, the other needs a service slot on Tuesday.

Automotive sites serve two audiences with almost nothing in common. A buyer is comparing models, variants and offers over several weeks. An existing owner wants a service booking, and wants it in under a minute. Building one flow for both serves neither.

For the buyer, the deciding pages are variant comparison, on road price for their city, and finance options. On road price is the one most dealers get wrong, because a showroom price without registration, insurance and accessories is not a number anyone can act on.

For the owner, it is a service booking with a real slot, a pickup option, and a rough estimate. Workshops that offer this see a measurable drop in phone traffic and better bay utilisation, because bookings spread out instead of arriving in a morning cluster.

What we build

The modules that matter in automotive.

Not every project needs all of these. This is the menu, and the first conversation is usually about which two or three of them would change your week.

  • Vehicle inventory

New and used stock with variant, colour, kilometres, ownership and availability, filterable by budget and body type.

  • On road price calculator

Ex showroom, registration, insurance, accessories and offers by city, so the total is honest before a visit.

  • Test drive booking

Model, date and location chosen online, with home test drives where offered.

  • Service booking

Slot selection by service type, with pickup and drop, and an estimate before the vehicle is handed over.

  • Finance and exchange

EMI calculator, partner offers and an exchange valuation enquiry for the existing vehicle.

  • Multi location

Branch switching for stock, service centres and contact, with correct timings for each.

What usually goes wrong

The four mistakes we see most often here.

These are not hypothetical. Each one is something we have been called in to fix on a site somebody else built.

  • Showroom price shown without on road figures, which makes every enquiry start with a correction.

  • Used listings left up after sale, so buyers arrive for a vehicle that went last month.

  • Service booking as a callback request, which is just a phone call with extra steps.

  • Vehicle photographs that are manufacturer stock images rather than the actual unit in stock.

Questions

About automotive projects.

Can used car stock update automatically?

If your dealer management system allows an export or an API, yes. Otherwise staff manage listings through a simple screen with photo upload, which takes a couple of minutes per vehicle and keeps the page honest.

How accurate can an on road price be?

Accurate to the rupee for registration and insurance, given the city and variant, because those follow published rules. Accessories and offers change, so we keep those editable by your team rather than fixed in code.

Does online service booking reduce phone calls?

It does, and it also spreads bookings across the week instead of concentrating them on Monday mornings. Better bay utilisation is usually the larger gain.
